Filmkritik zu „Rush Hour 3“
Rush Hour 3 ist eine US-Amerikanische Actionkomödie aus dem Jahr 2007, deren Hauptrollen mit Jacky Chan und Chris Tucker besetzt sind.
Konsul Han soll den obersten Triaden-Boss identifizieren, als er plötzlich von einem Scharfschützen angeschossen wird. Chief Inspektor Lee (Jacky Chan) macht sich an die Verfolgung des Schützen. Dieser stellt sich als sein Bruder Kenji heraus und Lee lässt ihn laufen.
Im Zuge der Ermittlungen reisen die beiden Polizisten nach Paris, wo sie die Tänzerin Geneviève kennenlernen. Diese hat eine Liste aller Triaden-Bosse auf den Hinterkopf tätowiert und soll deshalb enthauptet werden.
Kenji entführt die Tochter von Konsul Han um sie gegen Geneviève „einzutauschen“. In einem fulminanten Finale auf dem Eifelturm gelingt es Lee und Carter jedoch, die Entführte zu befreien und Kenji das Handwerk zu legen, welcher nach einem Kampf mit Lee vom Eiffelturm stürzt.
